Better

Quit complaining about how things are, and wishing they were somehow magically better. Press on, drive ahead, move forward, get going, and do so in a hurry. We are so content to stay where we are yet complain about how things are going. Be direct and determined in your pursuit of something great.

Today be the change that you would like to see in the world, and I promise to do the same.

Strength in Weakness

In times of weakness I find that I push myself harder than I normally would. I guess its because I want to be back where I was before. Yet still this surprises me, why move back before I feel the need to move forward? I find myself wishing I had the same determination and drive in my "strong times" as I do when I am weak.

Let this be my goal. To always strive to be better than I am that I may never become what I once was.

Reality

What is your version of reality? When people are asked what they would like to achieve the often finish with, but that's not very realistic. Why is that? Is it lack of confidence perhaps? I believe our "reality" is nothing more than limitations we place on ourselves so we will not feel the need to constantly better who we are. I am a Christian and a firm believer in the Bible. Therefore i chose to live by (Phil, 4:13) "I can do ALL thing through Christ which strengtheneth me."

Imagine if you will creating your own reality. Imagine living a life beyond all limits. In the end faith and perseverance can overcome all obstacles.

Different?

What changes people? Is it time, or simply the inability to ever be completely satisfied with who we are? I lived a certain way for so long, loving the same things, doing the same things, and seeking the same things. Some how i always found myself expecting different results. It was as if I thought, for some reason, I would wake up one day and be where i imagined my life would end up. As if you added the same numbers the same way a hundred times it would give you a completely different sum every time.

What I've come to realize is that if you want something more than what you have, you must become something more than what you are. If you want something better you must be better. Most importantly if you want to make a difference you must be willing to be different!
